Duties

• My client are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out new installs, routine maintenance, fault finding and repair works to all types of air conditioning units.

The right applicant will be expected to be able to carry out the following,

- Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems in industrial, commercial and residential buildings
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of air conditioning units
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems
- Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and operation of systems
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

Work will be mainly in the Midlands, but applicants may be required to travel further afield. Weekend working and occasional overnight lodging may also be required.

Applicants must live within 25 miles of Leicester and have their own hand tools.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and their components
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of HVAC principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with air conditioning units
- Skilled in equipment repair, maintenance, and replacement
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Salary between -37,000 - -42,000 depending on experience

Qualifications

- Full Clean Driving License

- Level 2 City andamp; Guilds Category 1 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration (essential)
