ABOUT US:

CC Cousins are a busy, growing Facilities Solutions company who have been established for more than 40 years. To further enhance our team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Approved Electrician, holding a valid JIB Gold Card and 18th Edition qualification. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across a range of projects.

CC Cousins has the pleasure of working with some of the most recognisable names within the industry, with clients including CBRE, Rontec, Savills and Avison Young.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting electrical installations in accordance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment (Fault finding/ LED Upgrades/ Board Changes)
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults and issues.
• Always ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans
• Collaborating with other trades and team members to ensure successful job completion.
• Providing guidance and support to apprentices and junior team members.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and changes in regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as an Approved Electrician.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties in various environments and conditions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and practices.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• JIB/ ECS Gold card
• 18th Edition 2nd amendment
• City andamp; Guilds 2365 Diploma in Electrical Installations (or Equivalent)
• City andamp; Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent (Advantageous)
• PTS-FA-3 andamp; PTA-EM-1 (Adantageous)
• 2922-34 (advantageous)
• 2923-34 (advantageous)
