This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who enjoys combining technical accounting with data analysis, problem-solving and process improvement.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just produce the numbers but wants to understand them.

Someone who enjoys digging into large datasets, investigating variances, improving reporting and partnering with stakeholders to drive better decision-making.

The Opportunity

Working within a global finance function, you'll play a key role in month-end reporting, balance sheet ownership and financial controls across multiple international entities.

Alongside your accounting responsibilities, you'll analyse large volumes of financial data, identify trends and support initiatives that improve efficiency, reporting accuracy and business performance.

This role offers excellent exposure, genuine development opportunities and a clear pathway for someone progressing towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.

Key Responsibilities

andbull; Support month-end close and reporting activities

andbull; Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations

andbull; Analyse large financial datasets to identify trends, variances and anomalies

andbull; Support management reporting and financial analysis

andbull; Maintain robust financial controls and balance sheet integrity

andbull; Assist with audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements

andbull; Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business

andbull; Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies

andbull; Support continuous improvement and standardisation initiatives

About You

andbull; Studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA

andbull; Minimum 2 years' experience within a finance role

andbull; Strong month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience

andbull; Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills

andbull; Confident working with large, complex datasets

andbull; Naturally curious, analytical and detail-oriented

andbull; Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

andbull; Experience within a shared services or international environment would be advantageous
