Jacob-Grey-have-partnered-with-a-successful-Marlow-based-professional-services-organisation,-and-is-seeking-an-ambitious-Assistant-Accountant-to-join-the-team.-Alongside-a-credible-and-personable-Head-of-Finance,-this-will-be-a-great-opportunity-to-take-ownership-of-month-end-accounts-and-play-a-broader-role-in-the-financial-direction-of-this-successful-and-growing-business:

Monthly-Accounts:

• Draft-full-set-of-Monthly-Management-Accounts-with-supporting-schedules
• Produce-reports-to-calculate-and-review-Departmental-Profitability
• Complete-balance-sheet-reconciliations
• Prepare-Month-End-journals,-accruals-and-prepayments
• Conduct-monthly-variance-analysis-in-comparison-to-budget
• Take-full-ownership-of-all-nominal-postings-and-maintain-the-Fixed-Asset-Register
• Produce-detailed-information-to-support-budgeting-and-forecasting

Year-End

• Assist-the-Finance-Director-with-the-production-of-the-Statutory-Year-End-Accounts
• Assist-the-Finance-Director-with-the-Statutory-Year-End-Audits

The-ideal-candidate-will-be-an-active-studier-(ACA,-CIMA,-ACCA)-or-a-recently-completed-AAT4-seeking-the-next-phase-of-study.-Experience-with-month-end-processes-as-well-as-a-good-understanding-of-how-to-complete-management-accounts-is-expected,-though-training-to-take-full-month-end-ownership-will-be-given-Experience-in-a-professional-services-environment-will-be-considered-an-advantage,-though-not-essential,-as-will-interest-in-using-financial-software-to-add-value-to-financial-and-commercial-information.
