An established and well regarded primary school in South East London is seeking an experienced and committed senior leader to join the school from September on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The school is open to appointing either an Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher, with leadership responsibility shaped around the successful candidateandrsquo;s experience and strengths.

The Role

andbull; Take on a key role within the senior leadership team
andbull; Combine a class based teaching commitment (Years 1-6, depending on experience and preference) with leadership responsibilities
andbull; Support the ongoing development of teaching, learning and whole school standards
andbull; Contribute to wider school improvement and strategic priorities
andbull; Benefit from increasing leadership release over the course of the year

The Candidate

andbull; Current Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher
andbull; Strong track record in improving teaching and learning
andbull; Experience leading teams and driving standards
andbull; Confident operating at senior leadership level within a primary setting
andbull; Strong classroom practitioner across the primary phase
