Assistant Sustainability Consultant- BREEAM AP or Sustainability Strategy experience. andnbsp;

Milton Keynes- 3 days a week in the office for training. andnbsp;

My Client, a market leading sustainability and building services consultancy, based in the heart of Milton Keynes is searching for an Assistant Sustainability Consultant to join their friendly and supportive team. andnbsp;You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis (3 days a week). andnbsp; andnbsp;andnbsp;

As an Assistant Sustainability Consultant you will trained by a friendly team to specialise in BREEAM Assessments, sustainability strategies and compliance. andnbsp;You will complete;

  • BREEAM Assessments for RIBA stages 1-4 (pre-planning to construction phases). andnbsp;You will be trained to complete BREEAM Accreditation. andnbsp;
  • Ensure documentation is BRE Complaint. andnbsp;
  • Manage numerous BREEAM Assessments at various stages throughout RIBA Stages 1-4 from pre-planning to construction phase. andnbsp;andnbsp;

You will also have the chance to train and develop your skills to complete;

  • Whole Life Carbon Assessments.
  • Life Cycle Assessments using OneClick LCA. andnbsp;
  • Sustainability Strategies and Statements.
  • Energy Modelling.
  • CFD Modelling. andnbsp;

As an Assistant Sustainability Consultant you are expected to live locally to Milton Keynes and ideally have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing sustainability strategies and reviewing BREEAM Assessments. andnbsp;A BREEAM AP qualification is also preferred. andnbsp;andnbsp;

You will also be expected to have an MSc or BSc in a relevant discipline (e.g. Sustainability, BIM, Building Services or Energy Engineering) and have a keen interest in the Built Environment and an awareness of Building Services and Construction. andnbsp;

Candidates are also required to have a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for eco-friendly buildings from pre-planning stage to construction phase and be confident to advise clients on environmental impacts and energy efficiency. andnbsp;

It is also beneficial for applicants to have a professional accreditation (e.g. BREEAM New Construction, RICS, CIBSE or similar) and have an interest in Energy and CFD Modelling.andnbsp;
