Associate Building Surveyor

Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: andpound;65,000 andndash; andpound;75,000 + Excellent Benefits

Conrad Consulting is pleased to be working with a highly regarded, multiand#8209;disciplinary property and construction consultancy to appoint an Associate Building Surveyor to their growing Hertfordshire office.

This is a seniorand#8209;level opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor who enjoys a projectand#8209;biased role and is comfortable taking responsibility for service delivery, client management and the successful execution of instructions across a varied workload.

The Role

The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of core Building Surveying duties, with a particular emphasis on:

• Contract Administration across a variety of refurbishment and newand#8209;build projects
• Preparation of specifications and schedules of work
• Report writing, including technical, dilapidations and projectand#8209;related reports
• General project management duties from inception through to completion
• Client liaison and delivery of professional, compliant advice
• Supporting junior surveyors and contributing to team development

About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• MRICS status (or be working towards it with significant postand#8209;qualification experience)
• A strong technical background in projectand#8209;focused Building Surveying
• Proven experience acting as Contract Administrator
• Confidence producing detailed reports and specifications
• Excellent clientand#8209;facing and communication skills
• The ambition and ability to operate at Associate level
