In this role, you will be:
andmiddot;Developing and implementing the strategic vision for the Town Planning department.
andmiddot;Leading a varied portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
andmiddot;Mentoring, inspiring, and developing planning professionals within your team.
andmiddot;Building strong client relationships and exceeding expectations through exceptional service.
andmiddot;Staying up to date with planning legislation, policy changes, and regulations.
andmiddot;Managing budgets and project resources effectively.
andmiddot;Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the growth of the consultancy.
To succeed as an Associate Director, you will bring:
andmiddot;A degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or a related discipline.
andmiddot;Chartered RTPI membership.
andmiddot;A proven track record in planning with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
andmiddot;Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and Birmingham planning policies.
andmiddot;Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
andmiddot;Team leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate.
andmiddot;Business development acumen and ideally an existing network in the Birmingham market.
