My client, a market leading Sustainability and Building Services Consultancy who specialise in decarbonization, passivhaus and sustainable builds, is searching for an Associate Energy Consultant to lead their team in London. andnbsp;andnbsp;

Alternative locations are available across the Midlands and Wales.andnbsp;andnbsp;

As an Associate Energy Consultant, you will have the chance to work with an experienced team in London and have the opportunity to manage, mentor and grow the existing team. andnbsp;You will specialise in energy modelling and operational energy for bespoke builds, major housing developments, retail and commercial builds. andnbsp;You will deliver energy efficient solutions to reduce carbon emissions for many clients across the UK. andnbsp;

Candidates are required to have a BSc and/or MSc in Sustainability, Energy, Building Services or Building Physics Engineering and have achieved or close to achieving chartered status. andnbsp;You will have experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in IES Energy Modelling, Energy Statements, Decarbonisation and Overheating Assessments (Part L and Part O). andnbsp;

It is beneficial for applicants to reside in London and have experience of liaising with contractors, designers and clients to develop new business opportunities. andnbsp;andnbsp;

As an Associate Energy Consultant, you will complete varied sustainable and eco-friendly builds across the UK. andnbsp;You will manage, mentor and lead the existing team, offering technical advice and training/support to staff when needed. andnbsp; You will also liaise with Clients to discuss project progress and develop new business opportunities and promote the services of the company.andnbsp;

You will have the chance to work with a variety of private and public sector clients to deliver energy efficient solutions. andnbsp; andnbsp;

You will also be required to check, review and complete;andnbsp;

-IES Energy Modelling.

-Thermal calculations and associated calculations. andnbsp;

-Daylight and overshadowing modelling.

-Whole Life Carbon Assessments and Modelling.

-SBEM Modelling.

-Energy Strategies. andnbsp;

-HVAC Designs. andnbsp;

-Overheating Assessments (Part L and and Part O)andnbsp;

-EPCs

-Decarbonisation strategies.

-Site visits to liaise with Clients and contractors when needed. andnbsp;

-Mentor, manage and support the existing team and help to grow the department. andnbsp; andnbsp;andnbsp;

-Business development with new and existing Clients. andnbsp;
