Our client is offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join a highly respected engineering team based on the outskirts of Manchester. This is an excellent career move for a technically strong engineer who is looking to take on a leadership role while contributing to the delivery of complex and meaningful engineering projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and helping lead the structural engineering team, with responsibility for delivering projects from concept through to completion. The role will primarily focus on work within the nuclear sector, alongside projects across other regulated and critical infrastructure environments. Working closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, the Associate Structural Engineer will help ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality and fully compliant engineering solutions.
This position will involve overseeing technical delivery, reviewing designs, calculations and technical reports, and ensuring all work meets relevant standards and regulatory requirements. The role will also include managing project teams, maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the professional development of engineers and technicians through mentorship and guidance.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering engineering projects within the nuclear sector or similarly regulated industries, along with strong technical judgement and an excellent understanding of safety, quality and regulatory requirements. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and technically driven environment where engineers are empowered to make a real impact while continuing to develop their careers.
