We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Production / Operations Manager to join a growing bakery operation based in Mid Glamorgan.
This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced food production environment, requiring someone who can bring structure, lead from the front, and support continued growth.
The Role
This is not an office-based management position. You will be a visible leader on the shop floor, working closely with teams to drive performance, improve processes, and build a strong, engaged workforce.
Key responsibilities include:

andmiddot;Driving improvements in efficiency, quality, and output
andmiddot;Implementing structure, processes, and best practices
andmiddot;Leading change and continuous improvement initiatives
andmiddot;Ensuring a positive, high-performance culture on site
What We're Looking For
andmiddot;Proven experience as a Production or Operations Manager
andmiddot;Strong background in food manufacturing or bakery production (preferred)
andmiddot;Hands-on leadership style with a strong shop floor presence
andmiddot;Experience working in growing or evolving environments
andmiddot;Ability to build trust, influence positively, and bring teams with you
andmiddot;Flexible and adaptable approach to meet business needs
andmiddot;Ideally based within commuting distance of Mid Glamorgan / South Wales
