About the Role
An Alternative Provision in Romford is seeking a resilient and motivated Behaviour Support Mentor to work with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support.
The provision supports young people who have struggled in mainstream settings and aims to re-engage them with education.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 behaviour support for students
Implement behaviour intervention strategies
Support emotional regulation and positive engagement
Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams
Build positive relationships with students
Requirements
Experience working with young people with behavioural needs
Strong behaviour management skills
Calm, consistent and resilient approach
Passion for supporting vulnerable learners
Ideal Background
Youth work
Behaviour mentoring
SEMH or alternative provision experience
