Our client, a well-established national provider of claims and building consultancy services, is looking for a Surveyor to join its growing Building Consultancy team covering Cheshire (CH, CW, SK and WA postcodes). This is a varied, hands-on role where your technical judgement matters.
You'll manage your own caseload, carrying out defect diagnosis surveys, preparing costed schedules of works and overseeing repair projects through to completion. Instructions come from insurers, loss adjusters and policyholders, alongside a fast-growing private client portfolio.
Insurance experience is a bonus, but not essential: strong surveying fundamentals are what count.

What you'll bring
- Solid knowledge of building surveying principles and defect diagnosis
- Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and JCT contracts, including variations, payments and liquidated damages
- Clear, confident communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to work independently, manage deadlines and contribute to a supportive team
- RICS or MCIOB membership, or working towards it
