Central London | Full Time | £55,000 + Bonus + Travel + Excellent Benefits

TRC are proud to be exclusively partnering with a well-established specialist electronic security company to recruit an experienced CCTV & Access Control Engineer. The Role

You'll be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repair of CCTV and access control systems across a portfolio of commercial sites throughout Central London. Working independently, you'll diagnose faults, carry out repairs and minor upgrades, whilst building strong relationships with customers and ensuring systems remain fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and fault-find CCTV and access control systems across multiple commercial sites.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.

  • Diagnose and repair faults on IP and analogue CCTV systems, NVRs, DVRs, cameras, door entry and access control equipment.

  • Complete minor system upgrades and commissioning work where required.

  • Configure user permissions, access credentials and system settings.

  • Liaise directly with clients, providing clear updates and first-class customer service.

  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in line with industry standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need previous experience working within the electronic security industry servicing CCTV and access control systems.

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong hands-on experience servicing and maintaining CCTV and Access Control systems.

  • Experience working with IP CCTV, NVRs/DVRs, cameras, readers, door controllers and associated hardware.

  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

  • Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing and network configuration.

  • An ECS Card (essential).

  • A full UK driving licence.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

  • Eligibility to obtain a DBS check.

Desirable

  • Experience working within commercial environments.

  • Previous experience with security integrators.

  • Electrical, electronic or security systems qualifications.
