Chef/ Cook-

Overview
We are seeking a Chef/ Cook to join our nursery school culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering nutritional and healthy dishes.

A cooking qualification would desirable or certificates , training in food hygiene, or allergy awareness. Also previous experience in a similar setiting.-

Hours: Monday- Friday, 8.30am - 5pm , paid holidays and further training, career progression opportunities. No weekends or Evenings!

Duties include:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards for children.
• Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours
• Oversee food safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
• Assist in menu planning and development to meet preferences and seasonal offerings
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
