The Roleandnbsp;

Asandnbsp;aandnbsp;HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver, you willandnbsp;be responsible forandnbsp;the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and delivery of vehicles nationwide using modern multi-car transporters. This is a tramping role involving nights out Monday to Friday, withandnbsp;additionalandnbsp;weekend work available for drivers seeking overtime opportunities.andnbsp;

Drivers willandnbsp;representandnbsp;the company professionally while ensuring all vehicle movements are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and legal compliance standards.andnbsp;

Key Responsibilitiesandnbsp;

  • Operating HGV Class 1 car transporters across the UKandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Loading, securing, and unloading vehicles safely and correctlyandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reportingandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed on timeandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Maintainingandnbsp;accurateandnbsp;transport and tachograph recordsandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Providing a professional and courteous service to customers and clientsandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Adhering to all DVSA, road transport, and health andamp; safety regulationsandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Maintaining cleanliness and care of company vehicles and equipmentandnbsp;andnbsp;

Pay andamp; Benefitsandnbsp;

  • andpound;55,000 andndash; andpound;65,000 per annum earning potentialandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • andpound;180 daily rateandnbsp;/ andpound;250 weekend rateandnbsp;

  • andpound;26.20 night out allowanceandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • andpound;5 daily meal allowanceandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • andpound;2 andndash; andpound;4 per vehicle bonusandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Additionalandnbsp;bonuses available contract dependantandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Weekly or monthly pay options availableandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Holiday pay calculated using the average of theandnbsp;previousandnbsp;12 working weeksandnbsp;andnbsp;

Requirementsandnbsp;

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Licenceandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Valid Driver CPC qualificationandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Digital Tachograph Cardandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Strong work ethic and professional attitudeandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulationsandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Excellent communication and customer service skillsandnbsp;andnbsp;

Previousandnbsp;car transporter experience is preferred but not essential, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided to the successful candidate.
