Class 1 Drivers Wanted - Join a Leading Haulage Team!

Location: Southampton | Work Type: Ad Hoc (Mon-Fri) | Pay: Weekly (PAYE / PAYE Advanced)

Driver Hire Southampton is on the lookout for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support one of our top clients specialising in general haulage deliveries across the South Coast.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Driving a Class 1 curtain sider delivering palletised goods
• Covering local deliveries andamp; collections across the South Coast
• Working 10-12 hour days, with start times between 5:00am-7:00am
• No manual handling - pallets are loaded/unloaded by forklift
• Following planned routes, completing paperwork, and staying in touch with the Transport Office

What We're Looking For:

• Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi card
• At least 1 year of recent Class 1 driving experience
• Confident using curtain siders, strapping loads, and handling general haulage
• Good communication and timekeeping are essential
• Must have own transport to reach the site
• Able to carry out daily vehicle checks and keep accurate Tacho records
• A safe and professional attitude - always!
