Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers for various temp andamp; temp2perm roles across Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans andamp; Luton.andnbsp;

Pay Rate:andnbsp;andpound;18.00 to andpound;19.00 per hour

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK. Work may include trunking, store deliveries, RDC-to-RDC runs, container work, or general haulage depending on client requirements.

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Safely operate articulated vehicles (trucks/trailers)
• Transport goods between depots, warehouses, and customer sites
• Ensure all paperwork and/or electronic PODs are completed accurately
• Comply with tachograph rules, driving hours, and road safety regulations
• Load/unload where required (depending on role)
• Maintain professional communication with planners, customers, and site staff

Requirements:

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 6andndash;12 months Class 1 experience preferred (varies by client)
• Good understanding of UK road networks and driving regulations
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
