Here at Driver Hire Southampton we are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Night Drivers to work on behalf of our clients specialising in general haulage deliveries.

About this Class 1 Night role:

• Ongoing work between Monday to Friday
• Start times vary between 6:00pm and 8:00pm (10-12-hour shifts)
• Deliveries and collections of palletised general haulage goods
• Driving a Class 1 curtain sider (double decker andamp; single deck)
• One delivery to main hub in the midlands
• Pallets are forklifted off the vehicle
• ADR Qualification is beneficial

Requirements from you as a Class 1 Driver:

• Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi card
• Minimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicle
• Double decker experience
• Strapping experience
• Experience with curtain side trailers/ general haulage deliveries
• Own transport to commute to and from work
• Fantastic time keeping and communications skills
• Complete daily vehicle checks
• Comply with the company's health and safety procedures and record Tacho hours correctly
