Job Description
Our Client, in the Oil andamp; Gas industry, are looking for a CNC programmer/machinist for 6 month initial contract in Barrow-in-Furnessandnbsp;
RATE: andpound;22/h andpound;45k level
Key Responsibilities
and#61607; Program, set, and operate CNC machines, (Mazak 5-axis Lathes using G-code and M-code controls)
and#61607; Ability to operate Manual Lathes and Gate Mill
and#61607; Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and technical specifications.
and#61607; Create, optimise, and edit CNC programs for efficient machining and minimal downtime.
and#61607; Perform precision machining of components to tight tolerances.
and#61607; Conduct tool selection, tool setting, and offsets to ensure high quality output.
and#61607; Skills andamp; Experience
and#61607; Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer, ideally within a precision engineering environment.
and#61607; Experience w Mazak machines and intergrex 200-III programming with Mazatrol Fusion 640 and SolidCAM (essential).
