Whatandnbsp;Youandrsquo;llandnbsp;Be Doingandnbsp;andnbsp;

Your day-to-day responsibilitiesandnbsp;as a Support Workermayandnbsp;include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship.andnbsp;Youandrsquo;llandnbsp;work closely with care plans to ensure individualsandnbsp;maintainandnbsp;independence and dignity, providing the physical and emotional support that they might need to achieve their goals.andnbsp;

Whatandnbsp;Weandrsquo;reandnbsp;Looking Forandnbsp;

  • You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.andnbsp;

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behavours, supporting vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities, autism and personality disorders.

  • PVMA or CPI training would beandnbsp;advantageous,andnbsp;but this can be provided.andnbsp;

  • Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings.andnbsp;

  • A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.andnbsp;

  • A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.andnbsp;
