Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management:andnbsp;Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to all residents.
- Care Quality:andnbsp;Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, ensuring the home delivers person-centred care that enhances residents' quality of life.
- Team Development:andnbsp;Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Budget Management:andnbsp;Manage the home's financial operations, including staffing, resources, and budgets to ensure efficiency without compromising care.
- Family and Resident Liaison:andnbsp;Build and maintain strong relationships with residents' families and the local community, ensuring transparency and excellent communication.
- Care Planning:andnbsp;Ensure personalised care plans are developed and reviewed regularly for all residents, with a focus on dignity, respect, and promoting independence.
- Registered Manager Qualification (NVQ Level 5 in Leadership andamp; Management or equivalent).
- Current CQC Registrationandnbsp;as a Registered Manager.
- Proven experience managing a care home, particularly in elderly and dementia care settings.
- Strong knowledge of dementia care best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
