Job Title: Damp andamp; Mould Operative
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: -34,000.00 - -38,000.00 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Damp andamp; Mould Operative to join a dedicated housing repairs team working on a long term social housing contract in Westminster.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out damp and mould treatment works within occupied properties as part of planned and responsive maintenance programmes.
  • Diagnosing the root causes of damp, condensation, and mould issues, and implementing appropriate remedial actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Applying specialists treatments, including anti-fungal washes, mould-resistant paints, and other protective coatings.
  • Completing associated minor works such as plastering, painting, and decorating to restore affected areas following treatment.
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship in accordance to health and safety regulations, internal quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Accurately recording work completed, updating job sheets and reporting progress or issues to supervisors in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
  • City andamp; Guilds or Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Painting andamp; Decorating, or a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card.
  • Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
