Description
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimise inventory levels.
- Monitor and analyse sales trends to adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Lead the Sandamp;OP process.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on demand planning performance to stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align supply and demand plans.
- Utilise demand planning software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve demand planning processes and efficiency.
Profile
A successful Demand Planning Manager should have:
- Proven experience in forecasting andamp; demand planning or within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast trends.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in managing inventory and supply chain optimisation strategies.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain, business, or a related field.
