Deputy Finance Business Partner andndash; Preston andndash; Hybrid - andpound;42,000 - andpound;48,500 + Benefits

Our client is a large and highly recognisable name based in Preston and we are seeking to recruit to the position of Deputy Finance Business Partner. The role will be highly analytical and will support operational and tactical decision making with influential financial insight. The role will :

• Work closely with the Budget Holders to ensure that due consideration is given to the financial implications of all decisions including modelling of costs and scenario planning
• Appraise business cases, business change proposals and tender submissions from a finance perspective
• Be responsible for ensuring that the Budget Holders adhere to Financial Regulations and recognises corporate financial strategy in their tactical and operations plans
• Represent corporate finance in meetings and ensure that consistent messages are given and received
• Prepare and present information and analysis of the financial plans and performance of the budgets

Ideally you will be qualified AAT and actively working towards a fully recognised accountancy qualification andndash; ACA, ACCA , CIMA or CIPFA. It is essential you have strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to use complex spreadsheets and database tools to analyse financial data. You will have a strong attention to detail, be a team player and be able to build strong working relationships with both financial and non-financial colleagues. Experience of Power BI would be an advantage.
