A permanent Deputy Home Manager post has become available in a luxury nursing home in Olney that specialises in elderly care.
- andpound;50,000 per year, depending on experience
- Must be RGN or RMN or RNLD with NMC PIN
- Fulltime hours
- Nursing, residential and dementia care
- Purpose-built home for the elderly
- Immediate interviews
The successful Deputy Manager candidate will be required to assist the Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care to the homes frail elderly residents, some of who may suffer with dementia. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of nurses and carers and helping to ensure the smooth running of this reputable nursing home. Good communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding care are therefore essential.andnbsp;

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
andbull; You must be a qualified nurse andndash; RGN or RMN or RNLD - and registered with the NMC
andbull; Excellent communication skills
andbull; Previous experience in a Deputy Manager role essential
andbull; Min 5 years hands-on nursing experience
andbull; Passion for elderly / dementia care
JOB REQUIREMENTS OF THE DEPUTY MANAGER:
andbull; Work autonomously and independently whilst building strong relationships with the management and care staff throughout the organisation
andbull; Maintain and assess the homeandrsquo;s high quality careandnbsp;
andbull; Organising and motivating the carers to ensure excellent standards of care are delivered
andbull; Assist in inductions and orientations of new care staff
andbull; Help to uphold the homeandrsquo;s reputation as a recognised centre of excellence
andbull; Liaising with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team
andbull; Administrative duties
