We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive individual who can bring with them the managerial skills to assist in the management of a complex mental health supported living scheme. As part of the role,andnbsp;

As part of the role,you will be expected to support the Service Manager, which will include coordinating and liaising with new referrals and assessments, working across multi-disciplinary teams including forensics, mental health, learning disabilities, Neuro diversity and EUPD. About the serviceandnbsp;

SIS is a leading care provider in the Northwest. We have been supporting individuals with mental health and housing needs since 2014. We are developing this brand-new service in Macclesfield to support the more complex client group in a specialist, bespoke development. This will be a 24 hour, PBS led service with input from our OT and MH professionals. Individuals will have their own apartment within a 10-unit complex with staff on site. The service is aimed to support individuals who have had long stay admissions in locked door rehabilitation units, forensic units and out of area placements. This may be their first opportunity to live semi-independently and develop independent living skills. Whilst challenging, there is lots of opportunity for the successful candidate to help improve peopleandrsquo;s lives and build an excellent team around the service.andnbsp;

What we are looking for.andnbsp;

  • Desirable level 5 in leadership andamp; management or willing to work towardsandnbsp;

  • Level 3 health andamp; social care qualificationandnbsp;

  • At least 2 yearsandrsquo; experience of caring for adults with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours.andnbsp;

  • PBS experienceandnbsp;andnbsp;

  • Management experienceandnbsp;

  • People that are enthusiastic about making a difference.andnbsp;

  • Self-motivated, empathetic, dynamic, and creative within the care sector.andnbsp;
