As a Deputy Store Manager at Aldi, you'll take pride in driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, minimising costs, and improving operational efficiency. You'll support the Store Manager by training colleagues, checking displays, and achieving sales targets. This role offers real responsibility and is the perfect stepping stone for experienced team leaders on their journey towards a store management role.
Key Responsibilities
andbull; Running the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
andbull; Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations
andbull; Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs
andbull; Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently
andbull; Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits
andbull; Ensure Health andamp; Safety and due diligence standards are maintained
Skills andamp; Experience
andbull; Experience managing teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments
andbull; Skilled in time management and cost control
andbull; Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently
andbull; Strong customer service and compliance skills
andbull; Previous Store Management experience is a plus but not essential
