Design Engineer

Major Infrastructure / Civil Engineering

We are working with a well established civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects and are seeking a Design Engineer to join their growing technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging infrastructure schemes within a business offering long term project security, career progression and an engineering led environment.

The Role

Working closely with the Design Manager and project teams, you will support the coordination and delivery of design activities across complex infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include:

andbull; Managing technical queries and design information
andbull; Coordinating consultants and design stakeholders
andbull; Reviewing drawings and design deliverables
andbull; Supporting BIM and digital engineering requirements
andbull; Managing design programmes and interface meetings
andbull; Supporting temporary works and CDM processes
andbull; Liaising with project and construction teams throughout delivery

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

andbull; Civil engineering or construction related experience
andbull; Design coordination or design management experience within infrastructure or heavy civils
andbull; Knowledge of BIM, CDM and construction delivery
andbull; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
andbull; Heavy civils or tunnelling experience advantageous
