Location: Flexible within Greater South-West - mixture of offices, project sites and home-

Join our team as a Design Manager and play a key role in managing design on our flood and coastal risk management projects. Working within our EA business, youand#39;ll be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions across projects ranging from -500k to -50m in value. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our expanding capabilities as a leading contractor in the flood and coastal risk management sector.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Design Manager, youand#39;ll be working within the Environment Agency team, supporting them in delivering designs for effective flood and coastal risk-management solutions.

Your day to day will include:
- Managing the design process from initial concept through to detailed design, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards
- Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to drive innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions
- Building collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Managing design quality procedures and ensuring timely delivery of design information
- Supporting digital design initiatives and ensuring compliance with BIM standards

What are we looking for?
This role of Design Manager is great for you if you hold:
- Level 6-qualification (degree or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
- Experience delivering high value, complex-design work from the main contractor perspective-
- Experience of managing and driving a multi-discipline technical engineering team
- Ability to organise, plan, programme and manage workloads-
- Commercial awareness
- Full driving licence-
