Are you a Design Manager with experience organising the design function of projects for a tier 1 main contractor? Are you looking to work for an established, highly respected Main Contractor with plenty of projects on the books?

The Role

After a series of project wins an exciting opportunity has arisen at one of UKandrsquo;s largest tier 1 main contractors. They are looking to recruit a Design Manager to play a key role in their fit out and refurbishment division.

The initial projects you would be working on are School, College and University refurbishments.

The Candidate

The successful individual will have worked as a Design Manager who has experience taking projects fromandnbsp;RIBA stage 3+.

Previous work on Education / School / University / DfE projects or similar experience would be preferred but not essential.

Key Experience

  • Design Management of projects RIBA 3+ for a main contractor.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Excellent IT Skills, Numeracy and Communications skills are required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Produce and negotiate the project specific designer agreements.
  • Produce andamp; manage a realistic design programme.
  • Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement and innovation.
