Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical / Structural Draughtsperson / Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate technical drawings and plans using CAD software in line with project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to collect project requirements and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Prepare schematics and layouts for mechanical and structural steelwork.
• Utilize software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce high-quality drafts.
• Review and revise drawings based on client or team feedback to maintain accuracy.
• Organize and manage a database of drafts and revisions for easy team access.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant mechanical or structural engineering qualification.
• Proficient in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Solid understanding of structural and engineering principles related to drafting.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents effectively.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving capabilities to address design issues as they arise.
• Experience in building design or related fields is advantageous.
