Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Substance Misuse Drug andamp; Alcohol Recovery Worker for a leading Drug andamp; Alcohol Criminal Justice Substance Misuse Recovery Service based in SY1 Post Code Area of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, who is really passionate about providing a personal recovery service. This role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours per week Monday andndash; Friday 9am-5pm.
The post holder will support a caseload of Clients of all ages; undertaking assessments, developing person centred recovery plans andamp; running evidence-based substance misuse interventions in groups andamp; on a 1:2:1 basis. You will deliver interventions both onsite face to face andamp; via telephone / video technology where appropriate.andnbsp;You will also spend timeandnbsp;supporting the Probation /andnbsp;Prisonandnbsp;Teams working alongsideandnbsp;Education Providers, Supported Housing Organisationsandnbsp;and Social Services, going the extra mile to help achieve sustainable positive behaviour changes.
