Job Title: Electrical Site Supervisor
Location: Southampton
Rate: andpound;400 per day (Umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4 Months (with likely extension)

Skilled Careers are partnering with a well-established main contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor for a university project in Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong site team and play a key role in overseeing electrical installations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver daily site safety briefings
• Supervise mechanical and electrical subcontractors
• Ensure full compliance with site health andamp; safety regulations
• Carry out QA checks and maintain accurate records
• Produce daily and weekly progress reports
• Prepare and manage 6-week look-ahead programmes
• Support Mechanical andamp; Electrical Site Managers with day-to-day operations

You will be working as part of an established site team, including engineers, senior engineers, commercial staff, and a Project Manager.

Requirements

• Relevant Electrical Qualification
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification
• CSCS Gold or Black Card
• Proven experience supervising electrical installations on construction projects
• Strong knowledge of health andamp; safety regulations
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
• Valid 18th Edition and City andamp; Guilds qualification (or equivalent)
