A leading multi-service Mandamp;E contractor based in Stoke on Trent is looking for a qualified Electrician, with a strong background in controls to carry out installations, repairs, servicing and maintenance across a range of electrical systems and equipment.

The role offers an attractive salary and benefits package up to -40,000 per year plus bonuses, a company vehicle, and a good variety of work.

As the qualified Electrician your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the installation and integration of new control systems into existing infrastructures.
• Test and commission electrical installations, ensuring they are safe and operational.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and inspections on electrical systems and controls to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with current wiring regulations and health and safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.

The Electrician will have the following skills and attributes:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and automation technologies.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and other control equipment is highly desirable.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Inspection andamp; Testing (2391-52) is highly desirable.
• Valid ECS Gold Card or CSCS Card.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

You will be working from various locations in and around the Staffordshire and nationally, Monday to Friday. Overtime is available and occasional overnight stays may be required.
