Electronics Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a skilledandnbsp;Electronicsandnbsp;Technicianandnbsp;to support the testing, diagnosis, and repair of handheld electroandacirc;andeuro;andlsquo;mechanical devices. This is a hands-on workshop-based position where you will troubleshoot faults, identify root causes, and complete highandacirc;andeuro;andlsquo;quality repairs to ensure equipment is returned to customers in excellent working order.

Working within an engineering-led environment, theandnbsp;Electronicsandnbsp;Technicianandnbsp;will collaborate closely with technical specialists and production teams while maintaining strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable, safe, and accurate repairs.

Electronics Technician Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults on handheld electroandacirc;andeuro;andlsquo;mechanical instruments and testing equipment.
  • Perform component-level repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
  • Conduct functional testing to verify successful repair and calibration.
  • Work from repair instructions, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and follow workshop processes.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to support continuous improvement and recurring fault analysis.

Qualifications andamp; Experience

  • Relevant proven experience in a similar repair or maintenance role.
  • Strong understanding of electroandacirc;andeuro;andlsquo;mechanical systems.
  • Fault-finding experience across electrical and mechanical components.
  • Previous exposure to workshop or service/repair environments desirable.
