Experienced Maintenance Fitter
Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at a busy recycling centre. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and supporting the smooth operation of plant machinery and site equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant machinery
Welding and fabrication work when required
Basic electrical fault finding and repairs
Plumbing and general site maintenance
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health andamp; safety procedures
Requirements
Previous experience in plant maintenance or a similar industrial environment
Ability to weld and carry out basic fabrication
Knowledge of electrics and plumbing
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
Flexible with working hours
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
07:00 - 16:00 (times may vary, flexibility required)
Weekend work available when required (must be available if needed)
Pay
-14.00 - -17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
