We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Extra Care Registered Manager to lead a brand-new, purpose-built Extra Care scheme in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven leader to establish and embed high-quality care standards within a flagship development designed around dignity, independence, and community living.

Salary: -65,000 - -70,000 per annum

• Lead the day-to-day operational management of a large Extra Care scheme
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain excellent quality standards
• Oversee care delivery for residents with a range of assessed needs including older people, dementia, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities
• Manage and develop a large on-site care team, ensuring safe staffing levels and effective rota management
• Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, commissioning teams, housing partners, and external stakeholders
• Drive occupancy levels and support smooth referral and assessment processes
• Monitor KPIs, quality audits, care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
• Embed person-centred care practices that promote independence and community integration
• Support the management of short-term and step-down placements within the scheme
• Lead recruitment, supervision, appraisals, disciplinary processes, and team development
• Manage budgets and contribute to the overall commercial performance of the service
• Prepare for and lead CQC inspections, ensuring the service is inspection-ready at all times

Required Skills andamp; Experience

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within Extra Care, Supported Living, or Residential Care (minimum 3 years in a management capacity)
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
• NVQ Level 5 in Health andamp; Social Care (or commitment to complete)
