Responsibilities

• Carry out plating and fabrication work in a heavy industrial engineering environment
• Fabricate structural steel components in line with detailed engineering drawings
• Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all completed work meets strict quality and industry standards
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in plating and fabrication within heavy engineering or industrial settings
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings accurately
• Skilled in the use of fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled trades team
