We are currently working with a leading organisation within the power distribution sector to recruit a skilled Field Service Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working on-site, delivering high-quality service, and being part of a dynamic and growing team.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of high voltage equipment across various customer sites. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a field-based environment and is comfortable travelling as part of their role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of high voltage equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency fault finding on customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health andamp; safety standards and industry regulations
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients when required
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience working with high voltage equipment (essential)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently on-site and manage workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a field-based role
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Flexible and adaptable to varying site requirements
