Financial Controller

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a fast-paced, growing organisation within a specialist manufacturing and services environment. Sitting at the heart of the finance function, the role leads the transactional finance team and ensures robust systems, processes, and controls are in place to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting continued growth, driving performance insight, and improving financial operations.

You will take ownership of day-to-day finance activities, leading and developing the team while strengthening financial processes and controls across the business. The role covers full responsibility for month-end and year-end reporting, finance systems optimisation, and leading the annual audit process. You will also partner with senior stakeholders to provide meaningful analysis, challenge financial performance, and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives. Alongside reporting, you will focus on continuous improvement, ensuring systems are fully utilised and financial information is both accurate and insightful. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate across the organisation while maintaining strong governance and control standards.

About You

You are a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with relevant industry experience, ideally within a manufacturing or operational environment, and a proven track record of leading teams and improving financial processes. You are systems-savvy (experience with platforms such as SAGE is advantageous), commercially minded, and confident in analysing and challenging financial data. A resilient, results-driven approach, combined with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders, will be key to success in this role.

On offer is a salary of between -55,000 and -65,000 dependant on experience. Plus, company benefits. #3066
