Food Technology Teacher - East London - GCSE Hospitality andamp; Catering - April Start
A highly successful Outstanding secondary school in East London is seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their Design and Technology department from April to July.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Food Technology teacher with experience teaching GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition and Hospitality and Catering. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 11 GCSE class, supporting students during the important exam preparation period.
The role is Tuesday to Friday each week, with lesson planning already provided. The teacher will be responsible for lesson delivery, classroom management and marking, ensuring students remain engaged and supported through the final stage of their GCSE course.
This East London secondary school is known for its supportive leadership team, strong behaviour policies and excellent facilities within the Food Technology and Design Technology department.

The Ideal Food Technology Teacher Will:
Hold QTS, QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Food Technology or Food Preparation andamp; Nutrition at GCSE
Have knowledge of Hospitality and Catering qualifications
Be confident supporting Year 11 students preparing for GCSE exams
Have strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
