Shillito Group are recruiting for a Furnace Charge Operator to join a well established, specialist manufacturing business in Sheffield.

• Prepare and weigh materials for furnace processing
• Maintain accurate records in line with quality and production standards
• Support furnace operations by ensuring correct charge preparation
• Assist with internal material recovery and processing activities
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation

• Experience in a manufacturing, metals, or industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with materials, weights, and processes
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn
• FLT and/or overhead crane experience (desirable)

• Stable, day-based role - no shifts
• Early finish every day
• Clean, well-run and organised environment
