Earthworks ganger - Full time

Location:andnbsp;HS2 BBV,Offchurch, Leamington Spa, CV33 area

A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 5-7andnbsp;years

Long term work available for the right candidates with the correct cards and tickets and want a stable job and income for the foreseeable future.

PAYE basis (Must Drive)andnbsp;

On Offer:

• Rate of andpound;20.67 ph PAYE

• Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Lodge allowance avaialbleandnbsp;for candidates located over 50 miles away from the job.

(This will be checked using the shortest distance Via AA Route planner. Relevant Documentation must be provided i.e. Proof of Address and lodge required)

Overtime When Available:

• Weekdaysandnbsp; overtime after 50 hours per week andnbsp;andndash; Time and a third pay

Candidates must have:

• Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of a Earthworks Ganger
• Good level of experience of General Earthworks knowledge and experienceandnbsp;such as embankments, working with excavations, grading, trenching
• The experience of supervising a small team of operatives
• Expected to lead by example in a working supervisory position
• Carry out any tasks assigned by overseeing operatives/Foreman with regards to safety working to method
• CSCS Blue skilled workerandnbsp; or CSCS gold card
• SSSTS
• 3 day first aid certificate
• Fire marshall course
• Good English communicationandnbsp;to use radioand#39;sandnbsp;communications usingandnbsp;

Preferred

• Traffic marshall ticket
