Panoramic Associates are supporting a well-established housing provider in appointing an experienced Gas Engineer to join their Property Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a customer-focused organisation committed to delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services across residential housing stock. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring homes remain safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard while delivering an excellent experience for residents.
Working as part of the wider Gas Team, you will carry out servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across occupied properties, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current gas regulations and health andamp; safety standards.
Key Responsibilitiesandbull; Carrying out annual gas servicing, maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs across residential properties
andbull; Accurately completing Gas Safe certificates and associated compliance documentation
andbull; Identifying and reporting defects, ensuring appropriate remedial actions are taken
andbull; Delivering high-quality repairs with a strong focus on andldquo;right first timeandrdquo; service delivery
andbull; Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and Health andamp; Safety legislation
andbull; Managing and attending scheduled appointments while maintaining excellent customer service standards
andbull; Working effectively both independently and as part of a wider operational team
andbull; Participating in an out-of-hours standby rota covering emergency gas and plumbing repairs
andbull; Liaising professionally with tenants and residents within occupied homes
andbull; Maintaining allocated vehicles, tools, equipment, and van stock responsibly
andbull; Using mobile technology and digital systems to record and manage works effectively
andbull; Attending training sessions, toolbox talks, appraisals, and ongoing professional development activities
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
andbull; Current domestic gas qualifications including CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, WAT1, and CENWAT
andbull; Relevant NVQ or City andamp; Guilds qualification in Plumbing andamp; Heating or Gas Engineering
andbull; Previous experience working within domestic repairs, servicing, and maintenance environments
andbull; Strong understanding of Gas Safe regulations and Health andamp; Safety legislation
andbull; Experience working within a customer-focused environment, ideally social housing or residential property
andbull; Strong communication and interpersonal skills
andbull; Good IT literacy and confidence using mobile working technology
andbull; Full UK Driving Licence
