This is an exciting opportunity for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join an innovative, multidisciplinary engineering team on a variety of ground investigation and construction projects in the North and Midlands. This Geoenvironmental Engineer position will involve assisting with site walkovers, carrying out site investigations, soil and rock logging, ground water and gas monitoring, and completing Phase 1 Desk Studies. You'll also be writing factual and interpretive reports, work on in situ testing and mentoring junior team members.
The successful Geoenvironmental Engineer will:
- Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geoscience, physical geography, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Have experience as a Geoenvironmental or Geotechnical Engineer
- Been keen to learn and develop geo-environmental skills.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Commutable to Leeds.
- Full right to work in the UK.
