Geography Teacher andndash; Full-Time, Long-Term Position
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Salary: andpound;34,398 andndash; andpound;46,839 per annum (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026

We are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Borehamwood to recruit a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

andbull; Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
andbull; Plan and teach lessons that develop studentsandrsquo; understanding of physical and human geography
andbull; Encourage critical thinking around global issues such as climate change, sustainability, and population
andbull; Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
andbull; Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
andbull; Support students in GCSE preparation, coursework, and revision strategies
andbull; Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with the Humanities department
andbull; Encourage participation in enrichment activities such as fieldwork and geography clubs

Ideal Candidate

andbull; Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (preferred but not essential)
andbull; Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
andbull; Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography
andbull; Passionate about inspiring students and promoting global awareness
andbull; Excellent classroom management and communication skills
andbull; A creative and engaging teaching style
andbull; Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
