They are currently working alongside some of the industryandrsquo;s most prestigious manufacturers, providing the finest products and solutions.Job Role : GLASS MANUFACTURING OPERATIVELocation: NorfolkPay Rate: andpound;14.08 per hour (Including 15% shift alowance) plus overtime at time and a halfLocation: Stalham, NorfolkThe position is based on a 38 hour per week :Shift patternWeek 1Mondayandndash;Thursday: 06:00andndash;14:00Friday: 06:00andndash;13:00Week 2Mondayandndash;Thursday: 14:00andndash;22:00Friday: 13:00andndash;20:00Rotating on a weekly basis. Overtime is paid at time and a half.The Job Role:You will work as part of a specialist glass production team, producing glass components to a consistently high standard. Full training will be provided across several processes, including:Glass Cutting andndash; Transferring CAD data and nesting parts to optimise glass sheet usageGlass Grinding andndash; Programming, setting, and operating glass edge-grinding machinesGlass Toughening andndash; Training on in-house flat and bent glass toughening processes, including furnace, press-bent, and sagged bending systemsGlass Printing- Operating large-format printers to apply detailed designs prior to furnace processingYou will be trained to read and understand engineering drawings and work to required quality standards.Key responsibilities:Manufacture glass products right first time and to specificationMaintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeepingHandle glass safely, including manual lifting where required (mechanical lifting aids available)Follow behavioural-based Health andamp; Safety procedures at all timesContribute to lean and continuous improvement initiativesPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityCalm, controlled approach to workAbility to manage and prioritise workload effectivelySelf-motivated and able to use initiativeGood communication and teamwork skillsPositive attitude and willingness to learn new skillsPerson SpecificationOwn transport required due to location of client in Norfolk.Ideal candidates will have previous CNC operating experience or glass handling experience within a manufacturing industryPlease forward your current up to date cv to apply.Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering Recruitment company based in NorfolkPerson SpecificationIdeal candidates will have previous CNC operating experience or glass handling experience within a manufacturing industryTechnique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering Recruitment company based in Norfolk
