We are seeking an experienced education professional to join the governing body of a new Alternative Provision.

This role focuses on supporting and challenging the quality of teaching, learning, and behaviour across the provision.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of curriculum, teaching, and behaviour standards
• Support leadership in maintaining high expectations and structure
• Contribute to Ofsted readiness and quality assurance
• Ensure learning is meaningful and supports progression

Background

• Senior leadership experience within education
• Strong understanding of SEND and/or SEMH
• Ability to provide constructive challenge and professional insight
