Company andamp; Project:andnbsp;Apple Technical Recruitment are working with a successful privately owned construction business to recruit an Estimator to join their Groundworks division.

The business deliver projects across East Anglia with groundworks packages valued between candpound;100k-andpound;500k. They are looking to recruit an ambitious Estimator to join their Groundworks division.

Our client has a busy order book secured for 2026 and they are continuing to be strategic in targeting new business.

This positionandnbsp;represents an excellentandnbsp;opportunity for an Estimator to grow their career further at a successful Main Contractor as the successful candidate will also be able to expand their skills over time toandnbsp;work across other sectors and build types such as New Build projects.andnbsp;

Duties andamp; Responsibilities:andnbsp;The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the cost plans and pricing of groundworks packages between the value of candpound;100k-andpound;500kandnbsp;on a variety of projects. In addition to working on other project types and sectors over time.andnbsp;

You will produceandnbsp;take offs, cost plans/pricing in addition to place orders and some quantity surveying duties including measurement andamp; valuations.

Desirable Experience:

• Around 3-5andnbsp;years experience working for a Groundworks Sub-Contractor or a Main Contractor with groundworks package experience.andnbsp;
• Experience as both an Estimator and Surveyor would be advantageous.
• Previous Roles: Traineeandnbsp;Estimator OR Estimator OR Trainee Quantity Surveyor OR Assistant Quantity Surveyor OR Assistant Estimator OR Graduate Estimator OR Graduate Quantity Surveyor.andnbsp;

Qualifications andamp; Skills:andnbsp;HNC or Degree in Construction related subject or comparable.
